Our Training Props

Our smaller training prop was a 2 seat aircraft built by a home builder from a kit. There have been over 1000 kits of this kind built and it is representative of many home built light aircraft. This aircraft has a canopy for access to the crew, simpler cockpit, lighter gauge metals, and non-standard markings.

Our larger training prop was a factory produced 4 seat aircraft with over 11000 built. It is representative of the most common general aviation aircraft that firefighters may encounter. This aircraft has an enclosed cabin, more complex cockpit and instruments, heavier gauge construction, and markings aligned with common factory produced aircraft.
